Todd Ness
Todd Ness grew up as a normal Canadian. He was a hockey referee and then served his government. Then, he picked up a microphone and life has been anything but normal. Todd headlines as a comedian in major Canadian clubs.
Yet, he is a down-to-earth guy who raises a Boston terrier and tries to convince himself to work out. He loves performing anywhere and will debut his television special for the Halifax Comedy Festival. He’s on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music or at a hockey rink somewhere.
Todd opened for some big names including Bryan Callen and Doug Stanhope. He won the 2014 Yuk Yuk competition for funniest comedian, challenging more than 100 comedians. Todd is excellent at creating comedic complaints and will invent things to complain about. He was the class clown growing up and used all his abilities from wit to athleticism to get the laughs.
He started performing in 2009 but remains a fresh face in comedy and his routines always leave people with a good feeling.
Jesse Gettis
Jesse is a stand-up comedian who brings his unique blend of self-deprecating charm to stages everywhere. With a delivery that’s equal parts vulnerable and hilarious, he shares stories of growing up with a conspiracy theory-loving dad, attempting to become an adult in his 30’s after divorcing his high school sweetheart, and trying and failing at being an Alpha Male with delightfully scurrilous results.
Whether he’s unpacking his valiant attempts at masculinity or trying to understand how his dad believes in aliens and flat earth at the same time, Jesse takes the uncomfortable and makes it silly.
He’s performed at top clubs like Yuk Yuk’s and The Laugh Shop, and his ability to turn personal pain for himself into joy for others with man-ish charm makes him a crowd favorite wherever he goes.”
